Privacy
CLS Control is a private access portal. It exists so that an authorised account holder can reach the lighting control equipment installed at their own site, from anywhere, without being on the building network. It is not a public service and it has no sign-up. Accounts are created by the installer who fitted the system.
What is stored
- A username, a display name, and which account it belongs to.
- A password, stored only as a salted one-way hash. The plain password is never stored and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
- The time an account last signed in.
- A record of which units an account is permitted to reach.
What is never asked for
No payment details, card numbers, bank information, government identifiers, or phone numbers. No page on this site will ever request them, and there is nothing to buy here. If something claiming to be CLS Control asks you for any of that, it is not us. Close it and tell your installer.
Cookies
One cookie, set after sign-in, which identifies your session. It is strictly necessary for the portal to function and is cleared when you sign out or when it expires. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site, and nothing here is shared with an advertising network.
What is done with it
Account information is used for one purpose: to confirm who you are and route you to your own equipment. It is not sold, and it is not shared with third parties. The installer responsible for your installation can see which units your account may reach, because they are the party who grants that access.
Removal
To have an account and its records removed, ask the installer who set it up. They can delete it, which also ends any active session.
